The UniWind 10 turbine of Uni Wind is the only turbine in the SWT Field lab with a yaw drive. On the hub of the turbine there is an anemometer and a weather vane mounted. Depending on the measured wind speed and direction, the yaw drive rotates the blades in or out of the wind. With it’s diameter of 8 m, currently the UniWind 10 is the largest turbine in the Field lab. It’s nominal power is 10 kW.
